Welcome!
The first recorded Australian baseball match was played on
February 21st, 1857, between Collingwood and Richmond, at the
Exhibition Grounds in Melbourne.
Nearly 150 years later, it is enjoyed by tens of thousands of
Australians, young & old, male & female, summer & winter. |

Gifu, Japan, 2003

|
After a last minute invitation from IBA
Boys to send an U12 team to Japan, NSWJBL moved into
action and put a team together in record time.
The event was a mixed card including participation in
an IBA Friendship series, together with games against
local schools. Schools in Japan form the basis for
junior baseball organisations, much like our clubs do in
Sydney. |
