  Welcome!

The first recorded Australian baseball match was played on February 21st, 1857, between Collingwood and Richmond, at the Exhibition Grounds in Melbourne.

Nearly 150 years later, it is enjoyed by tens of thousands of Australians, young & old, male & female, summer & winter.

Background ...

This team made the day-long flight to St Louis earlier in August, to compete in an IBA programme and caught a couple of home-stand games involving the Cardinals.

They then came home and enjoyed a short "rest" before playing in the Pan Pacific tournament.
