Welcome!
The first recorded Australian baseball match was played on
February 21st, 1857, between Collingwood and Richmond, at the
Exhibition Grounds in Melbourne.
Nearly 150 years later, it is enjoyed by tens of thousands of
Australians, young & old, male & female, summer & winter. |

Welcome to the home of the NSW Junior Baseball League's
Touring Team Programme. We conduct four to six
international tours each year, for baseball players in
several age-groups. We also host several tours from
other countries. This website showcases our activities
in recent years and provides information about upcoming
activities. |

2009 Tours ...

This year we have four touring teams with the
possibility of another team to Singapore in October.
Two Under 12 - 13 teams went to Japan in July and
August. One team went to Osaka and one went to Sendai.
An Under 15 team went to the United States and played
against teams from Europe and Japan as well as U.S.A.
teams.
In August a team will go to Europe and play in a
number of tournament against a number of different
countries. They will play in Germany, Holland and France
and finish their campaign with some sightseeing in
London on the way home.
NSWJBL is currently calling for expressions of
interest in joining a team to play in the South East
Asian tournament in Singapore in October. EOI forms are
